| Theme:The OLD-NEW TOWN (The History and Reality of the Same City: Koenigsberg-750 and Kaliningrad-60) We have everything in our city as you have in yours: ridiculous and funny, sad and amusing, dramatic and amazing. But the history is different. Conditions for participants: 1. Anyone regardless of nationality, age, sex, or profession can apply for participation. 2. Entry's format - maximum A3 [297x420 mm) 3. Works should be sent or delivered by 15th of April 2005 to "Kaliningradskaya Pravda" Daily Newspaper office: EurocARToons ul. Karla Marksa, 18, 236000 Kaliningrad, RUSSIA 4. All entries must be original cartoons, free technique. 5. Please, put down your name, surname, address, telephone number and the e-mail address on the back side of every entry. 6. Works sent to the exhibition are not sent back. The organisers reserve the right to publish cartoons as an advertising material without being obliged to pay a fee to an author of the published item. 7. Prizes: First prize - 1500 $ ,Second prize-1000$ ,Third prize - 500 $ ,Awards are due of taxation according to the state current regulations. The organisers keep the right to introduce special prizes extra. 8. Exhibition will take place in the Kaliningrad Art Gallery on the 24th of June 2005. All winners and prize-holders invited. 9. Selected cartcpons will be included into catalogue. Authors of these cartoons viII be granted with a free copy of the catalogue. |
