| The 1th International Pet humor Competition in China Pets live in our home, stay with us, play with us. They are important members of people's family... We hold the cartoon contest as the title of Cats & Dogs in order to understand their characters and special humor. If you like Cats & Dogs, please use your pen to tell the sweet and warm story between you and them. We also think that Cats & Dogs are so particular that 1,000 cats and dogs have 1,000 different faces. Please draw the caricatures for them, and we are looking forward to see the lovely portrait of cats and dogs. Rules: 1)Theme:Cat or Dog There are 2 category: cartoon(Humor graphic about cat or dog around our life) and caricature(only respecting cat or dog) 2)The deadline is Jan.31,2005. 3)Each artist may send maximum 5 works in each category. 4)Works should be original or quality digital copy,no awarded previously in China. 5)Enters may be color or white and black,no technical limit. 6)Enters should not exceed 30X42cm format,no frame. 7)Artist should write their name, address and e-mail on the reverse side of each work. Enters shall not bear subtitles.And also a short biography of the artist should be attached. 8)The organizers are not responsible for any postal damage. 9)Enters won't be returned. 10)Participants accept the terms and conditions and agrees with jury's decision. 11)Enters can be used by organizers for exhibition, publications, advertising, media etc. 12)Prizes as follow: 1 Grand Cat Prize, 1 Golden Cat Prize for each category, 2 Silver Cat Prize for each category, 3 Bronze Cat Prize for each category, Special prize offered by Pet home magazine, Special prize offered by Three Cat Gallery, Special prize offered by Ziran pet shop, Special prize offered by Beijing homeless cat center, 13)All selected artists will receive a catalog. 14)Jury meeting will be held in Feb.20,2005. 15)Opening exhibition will be held in Three Cat Gallery and Ziran pet shop,Beijing in March.1,2005. 16)Works should be sent to: 1208,A building,Renjishanzhuang, No.1 Zizhuyuan Road,100044, Haidian district,Beijing, P.R.CHINA 16)For more information:petcartoon@yahoo.com.cn |
