Entries
1. Each artist must submit three original works, drawn in
co1or
2. The maximum size of the works is 400mm300mm.
3. Please leave a 20mm margin around the drawing
4. Don t draw on thick paper or illustration board
5. Titles or captions must be written in English or
Japanese
6. There is no entry free
7. Artists must send their works flat Please dont roll or
fold them
8. All expenses for sending the works |

postage and insurance must be borne by the artist
9. Works that have already won a prize or have been published cannot be accepted
10. All works belong to the Kyoto Seika University Cartoon Department Collection whether accepted or notThey will not be returned
11. Only artists whose works are accepted will be presented a catalogue after the exhibition Except for the catalogue the results of the selection committee will not be sent But the prize winners will be informed by letter
12. Some of the accepted works will be printed in a brochure on posters in the world press or other printed matter for the purpose of publicizing the exhibition In these cases Cany fee for the use of the works will not be paid However if we plan to use some work for purposes other than the above We will first negotiate with the artist about his or her fee
13. Artists whose works are accepted must agree to their possible use on the Internet by KICC for publicizing the exhibition

Prizes
Gold prize one person 500,000
SiIver prize one person 200,000
Bronze prize three persons 100,000
Exhibition
The exhibition will be held for 2 weeks in Aug.2004. All accepted works will be exhibited and more than one work will be printed in the catalogue
