1st DON QUICHOTTE INTERNATIONAL CARTOON CONTEST
International Contest Don Quichotte, the humour magazin organises an international Cartoon Contest which based on subject " Turkey facing Europe" in relation with |
recent discussions "Does Turkey become fullmember of EU or not?"
These Cartoon Contest is aiming at examination of Turkey-European relations through humour. It is open to all international cartoonists.The cartoons may have not published before and are only per Internet to deliver.All kind of drawing technique are possible.The works must be dissolved in 300 dpi.In addition, the participants are expected to send their short CVs and photos together with their entries.
The prizes are as follows:

2nd prize and plaque
3rd prize and plaque
Special prize for Oguz Aral
Special prizes of certain establishments
The Jury consists of members from Turkey and from abroad:

Amount of prizes will be later announced. It is expected that the artists would be interested in subject itself rather than the prize.Closing date for entries is 10th December 2004.The works awarded a prize will be announced on 17th December in Brussels which purifies the date of negotiations betweeen Turkey and EU.Entries which get awards or worth exhibiting will also be exhibitied in Brussels and other several European cities. donquichotte@gmx.net |
