"PEACE
IN THE WORLD AND PEACE IN CYPRUS" INTERNATIONAL
CARTOON CONTEST AND EXHIBITION |

ENTRY
REQUIREMENTS…
1-This contest and exhibition is open to all professional
and amateur cartoonists of any nationality religion and
background.
2-The subject: "Peace In the World and Peace in
Cyprus". All cartoons to be submitted shall be
original drawings. All photocopies and those drawn by
using computer techology shall not be included in the
evaluation process.
3-All participants are allowed to submit in maximum three
cartoons. The minimum size of each caricature to be
submitted is A4 and maximum is A3. Cartoons can be drawn
in any colour. There shall be no frame nor any bandages
around the caricatures.
4-Name, surname, address, e-mail and telephone numbers of
the participant must be written at the back of each
cartoon. A short resume and photograph must also be
attached.
5-When posting Cartoons must be packed in such a way that
they should not be damaged. Organizing instutuions shall
not be responsible for any damage or loss resulting from
posting.
6-All cartoons eligible for an award or not shall not be
returned and shall be stored in archive of the "Cyprus
Inernational Catoon Museum."
7-Cartoons eligible for publishing shall be orginized in
an album of 500 pages and published. The album shall be
sent to each participant free of charge.
8-Cartoons shall be used for any kind of publication and
printing purposes, in line with the conditions and
regulations set by this exhibition body.
9-Cartoonists whose cartoons shall be awarded the first
three prizes, shall be invited to awards ceremony and
their expenses including travel shall be met. However
"Special Award" winners shall be eligible for
loding expenses only. The exhibition orginizing body is
not resbonsible for any misunderstanding and participants
who enters this competition without reading this agreement
shall be fully responsible for the conditions stated above.

Evaluation Meeting for the International Selection Board:
6-9 September 2004
Award Announcement Day: 10 September, 2004
Award Ceremony and Exhibition: 30 September, 2004
