International Exhibition "CARAGIALE"

Caragiale, Ion Luca , 1853�1912, Romanian playwright and author. Romania's foremost dramatist,his works sharply satirized Romanian society. His masterpiece, A Lost Letter (1884), describes a provincial government election won by a blackmailer. Other plays include Carnival Adventures (1885) and False Accusation (1889), a tragedy. He also wrote short stories and novels.

"Cartoonists Rights Network East Europe" is going to prepare one international
exhibition dedicated to Ion Luca Caragiale, great East European writer, humorist,
dramatist and journalist, hero of East Europe.
Participation: This exhibition is open to anybody. By the simple fact of participating,
all exhibitors accept the conditions and provisions of these regulations and agree to abide by the decisions of organizers.
Theme: You have to make CARAGIALE's portrait or caricature.
There are preferred original artworks but the drawings sending
by e-mail will be accepted (at 300 dpi, size 21 x 30 cm approximately)
Size: Free
Technique: Free, any style, any technique.
Important !!! The author must send his photo or caricature and a short CV (biography).
Property Rights: All artwork become the property of �Cartoonists Rights Network Romania� foundation.
The participants empower the organizing foundation to use the artworks to promote the creation of
ION LUCA CARAGIALE by any means as: books, albums, catalogues, publicity in the press and other media
resort, posters, calendars, gifts for authorities, etc. The artworks will be the main fund for a Cartoon
Museum, which the foundation Cartoonists Rights Network will try to establish.
The catalogue / album of exhibition will be send, free of charge at all participants.
